Weigela

A genus of shrubs with very showy flowering and easy cultivation. The leaves are oval, pointed, and 5–10 cm long. It blooms in May–June with funnel-shaped flowers that cover and bend the branches. It grows well in all exposures and is used alone, in groups, or in mixed hedges.
