Vitex
Shrub native to Central Asia and the Mediterranean with an upright, bushy crown. It has pubescent branches and leaves with small petioles that are very fragrant. It produces light purple, fragrant flowers in September. It grows in all moderately fertile soils, preferring dry ones. Used alone, in groups, and for informal hedges.
