Viburnum lucidum

Shrub with a dense, ascending, and bushy crown. Large evergreen leaves (20 cm long and 10 cm wide, oval), shiny like magnolia leaves, bright red in autumn. Produces white umbrel-shaped inflorescences in late spring. Grows in all soils that are not too calcareous. Resistant to pruning, used for barriers, medium or tall hedges, and also grows well in pots.
