Tilia hybrida 'Argentea'

Tree with a columnar crown, upper branches ascending and lower branches directed downward. Deciduous bright green leaves with grayish shades on the underside, heart-shaped or oval, with toothed edges, 16 cm long and 12 cm wide. Flowers in June-July with very fragrant white-yellow flowers. The round fruits are 5-7 mm large and dark gray in color. Prefers fresh and deep soils but tolerates hot summers well. Used in medium and large gardens, parks, and tree-lined avenues. Very common in the plains and hilly areas of Italy.
