Thunbergia grandiflora Bush
Origin: East India. Climbing plant with long woody stems, covered from the base in dark green, ovate-cordate leaves, 10-12cm long. From the beginning of summer to midautumn it produces periwinkle-blue flowers with yellow veined throat and 9cm wide corolla, solitary or in groups of 10-15.
