Tamarix ramosissima Half Standard

Origin: south east Europe as far as Asia. Deciduous shrub or small tree, very resistant to maritime exposure. Thin, arching branches, purplish-brown when young with small, green or slightly silvery needle-like leaves. Salmon-pinkflowers in July-August. Grows well in normal soils, even dry, sandy or stony.
