Sophora japonica 'Pendula'
Tree native to England obtained by grafting onto Sophora japonica. The branches droop from the graft point, forming a wide, umbrella-shaped crown. Leaves, flowers, fruits, and cultivation needs are those of Sophora japonica. It is used alone as a solitary tree in gardens, and in groups in parks.
