Sarcococca confusa Bush
Origin: China. Evergreen, bushy shrub, thick with arching branches. Ovate, tapering, glossy green leaves, up to 6 cm long. From January to March it produces clusters of small, creamy-white flowers followed by small, round, dark red fruit. Requires fertile, moist but well drained soil, not calcareous. Very useful as ground cover in the shade of old trees.
