Russelia equisetiformis Bush
Origin: Mexico. Evergreen shrub with flexible, rush-like and decumbent stems, and lanceolate and toothed small leaves which reduce to bracts. Scarlet flowers with long tubular and cylindrical corollas grow at their axils, from July till the end of October. One of the best hanging plants in warm climates where the winter temperature is around 5/7°C.
