Rosmarinus

Shrub with an ascending or prostrate crown, typical of Mediterranean areas with twisted branches. Needle-like leaves 2–4 cm long, bluish-green on top and gray underneath, covering the entire branch, forming a key part of culinary aromas. It blooms in spring-summer with blue flowers, highly sought after by bees. It also grows in dry, calcareous soils and in full sun exposure.
