Rhus
Shrub native to North America with an upward and broad crown, curved branches often starting from the ground. Deciduous leaves 15–20 cm long, bright green with a bluish underside, red or orange in autumn, made up of about twenty pointed, toothed leaflets. Male flowers are green, female flowers are reddish-brown, grouped in 20 cm panicles. It adapts to all soil types and is resistant to pollution.
