Prunus serrulata 'Royal Burgundy'

Large shrub or small tree with a rounded crown, a mutation of Prunus serrulata 'Kanzan' with dark red leaves. The flowers are the same but a brighter pink. It requires fresh, well-drained, and rich soils, and is used in gardens, avenues, and parks.
