Prunus fruticosa 'Globosa'
Shrub native to the Caucasus with short branches that, when grafted on top, naturally maintains a rounded crown. Deciduous dark green leaves, elliptical, 5-6 cm long and 2-3 cm wide. It blooms in April with simple white flowers and bears sporadic edible red cherries. Requires moist and rich soil, does not suffer from limestone.
