Poncirus trifoliata Bush
Origin: China, Korea. Deciduous shrub with branches that are elegantly woven together, and a smooth, green bark. The branches have long thorns, also green, which are straight and very pointed. Green leaves. It flowers very early, white and very fragrant. Fruit is round with a diameter of 4-5cm, initially green and then yellow. The fruit is not edible but very decorative and remains on the plant until mid-winter. Grows well in fertile, well-drained, deep soil. An ideal plant for defensive hedges as it is impossible for animals to penetrate.
