Polygala

A shrub native to South Africa with a spreading and upward-growing crown. The evergreen leaves are oval and grey-green. It blooms continuously from spring until late autumn with dark red flowers. It requires rich, moist soil, grows well in pots, and is used outdoors to create spots of color.
