Platanus orientalis
Large tree native to Greece with a wide crown and peeling, patchy bark. Five-lobed leaves, pendulous fruits present on the tree in groups of 2-6. Compared to P. acerifolia, it is more sensitive to cold and is widespread in Italy and southern France.
