Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Blue Spire'
Shrub formed by erect branches covered with white fuzz. Deciduous gray leaves, oval with toothed edges. Intense blue flowers gathered in corymbs, blooming in late summer. Hardy, prefers dry and calcareous soils, very resistant to drought and sea air. Used in groups of evergreen plants. The lower branches need pruning at the end of winter.
