Perovskia

Shrub formed by erect branches covered with white fuzz. Deciduous leaves gray, oval with toothed margins. Deep blue flowers clustered in corymbs, appearing in late summer. Hardy, prefers dry and calcareous soils, very resistant to drought and sea air. Used in groups of evergreen plants. The lower branches require pruning at the end of winter.
