Peltophorum

Tree native to Australia and tropical Asia, with a short trunk often forked and a rounded crown. Leaves are composed of 16–40 elongated leaflets. The flowers are grouped in bright yellow terminal racemes, and the fruits are flat pods. It grows along coasts and is used as a shade tree along streets.
