Nyssa

A tree native to North America with a thick trunk and a conical, spreading crown. The deciduous leaves are light green in spring, turning yellow-red in autumn, oval-shaped, and 5-8 cm in size. The flowers are inconspicuous, and the fruits are dark blue-black, gathered in clusters. It requires moist soil and a sunny exposure.
