Morus nigra

Tree native to China with a globose, irregular shape and a short trunk. Elongated bright green leaves, about 20 cm long. Inconspicuous flowers gathered in hanging racemes, blooming in May-June. Edible black fruits resembling elongated blackberries. Prefers poor and calcareous soils. Suitable for large gardens and parks, in sunny and sheltered locations.
