Morus alba

Tree native to China with a rounded, irregular shape and a short trunk. Leaves are elongated, bright green, about 20 cm long. Inconspicuous flowers grow in hanging racemes in May-June. Fruits are white or pink, edible, similar to elongated blackberries. Prefers poor, calcareous soils. Suitable for large gardens and parks, in sunny and sheltered locations.
