Melia

Tree native to India and China with deciduous pinnate leaves composed of bright green, elongated leaflets 3–5 cm long. It blooms in May-June with fragrant star-shaped flowers gathered in lilac-colored corymbs 10–20 cm long. It fruits with round yellow fruits that remain on the plant until the following winter. It requires well-drained soil and is used alone in gardens or in groups in parks.
