Here are flowering apple trees. Different from fruit-bearing apples, they have deciduous leaves, highly ornamental blossoms, and clustered fruits that sometimes remain on the plant until winter. They require rich, well-drained, deep, and cool soils. They can grow either as shrubs or trees and are used in lawns, gardens, and parks.
