Livistona chinensis Palm
Origin: southern Japan, Taiwan. Fan-shaped leaves, strong green, glossy, up to 2 mt long, split for two-thirds into lots of hanging segments. Flowers in summer, producing cream spikes, followed by fruits, from greenish-blue to pinkish-grey.
