Ligustrum japonicum 'Texanum'
Shrub with a wide and dense crown. Evergreen leaves 6-8 cm long and 3-4 cm wide, oval, tough, dark green on top and light green underneath. Aromatic flowers gathered in white panicles from June to July, followed by round black fruits. It grows in non-calcareous soils, resists pollution and sea conditions. Used for hedges and mixed groups, also grown in pots.
