Laburnum
Tree or large shrub native to the Netherlands with an irregular and ascending crown, and green bark. Deciduous dark green leaves composed of oval leaflets 3–7 cm long. It blooms in April-May with aromatic yellow flowers gathered in clusters of 30–50 cm, followed by green legume fruits 4–8 cm long. It grows in all soils but prefers calcareous ones. It is used alone or in groups and for informal hedges.
