Koelreuteria

Small tree native to China and Korea. Deciduous pinnate leaves, composed of bright green leaflets in spring and yellow-orange in autumn, up to 40 cm long. It blooms in June–July with bright yellow upright racemes up to 30 cm long. It fruits with round berries that are initially green, then turn pink. It also grows in calcareous soils.
