Hydrangea aspera ssp sargentiana (H. sargentiana)

Shrub with an ascending crown, deciduous oval-lanceolate leaves, dull green, 5-10 cm long. Inflorescences from July to October with fertile blue and violet flowers surrounded by sterile white flowers. Used for mass planting or alone.
