Hardenbergia

Climbing or prostrate plant native to Australia. The leaves are oval or elongated, bright green in color. It blooms from late winter to early summer with hanging spikes of 10-15 cm, purple, white, or pink depending on the variety. It requires fertile but not overly rich soil, moist but well-drained, and non-calcareous. Used to cover pergolas, columns, and walls.
