Genista lydia

Shrub native to the Balkan Peninsula with dense foliage and grey, arching branches. The leaves are deciduous, elliptical, pointed, and about 2 cm long. It blooms in May–June with bright yellow flowers. Hardy regarding soil, it prefers dry and arid soils. It is used in rock gardens, on slopes, and embankments.
