Euonymus japonicus
Shrub native to China, Japan, and Korea with an upright and dense crown, green branches when young that turn brown later. The leaves are dark green, 7 cm long and 4 cm wide, with serrated edges, hard and oval-shaped. Flowers appear in June-July, are yellow-green and inconspicuous. Fruits appear in October-November, are small, white with pink shades, and not abundant. Requires well-drained soil, tolerates sea exposure and pruning, and is used in planters and hedges in coastal areas.
