Eucalyptus gunnii (Eucalyptus divaricata)
Tree native to Tasmania with an initially upright and dense crown that expands over time, light green bark that peels off in late summer revealing a new yellowish-green bark with grayish shades. Young leaves are rounded and green, sometimes glaucous, while adult leaves are elliptical, green-gray, up to 8 cm long. Flowers bloom in summer-autumn with petal-less flowers and white-yellowish stamens. Does not grow in highly calcareous soils, regenerates quickly after pruning, and its leaves are widely used by florists.
