Enkianthus campanulatus Bush

Origin: Japan. Deciduous shrub, densely branched, with branches arranged in layers. Oval leaves, 3-6cm, soft green which become tinged with bright red in autumn. In spring it is covered in numerous small, bell-shaped, creamyyellow flowers with red veins. Requires fertile, acid, well-drained soil.
