Dicksonia antarctica
Tree fern native to Tasmania, with a woody trunk covered in brown hairs and ending with a tuft of bright green evergreen leaves up to 3 meters long. When grown in Italy, it requires winter protection, acidic and fertile soil, and a humid climate to prevent the aerial roots from drying out.
