Cupressus arizonica 'Fastigiata' Bush

Origin: Italy. Conifer with conical or narrowly columnar habit, dense branches very close to each other which cover the stem up to the top. Evergreen, scaly, imbricate, bright blue leaves. In spring the sun bleaches the leaves and they have a silvery glow. Flowers and fruit: monoecious conifer which rarely flowers and bears fruit. Very adaptable to various climates, from cold and rainy, hot and dry to maritime. Tolerates most types of soil, even calcareous. Withstands pruning which can be carried out often, but not too hard.
