Cupressocyparis Leylandii

Hybrid between Cupressus macrocarpa and Chamaecyparis nootkatensis originating from England, with a conical, compact, and dense crown. The leaves are scale-shaped, evergreen and pointed, dense and green. It flowers and fruits little. It adapts to all soils if grafted (from C. sempervirens), tolerates sea exposure, pollution, and pruning, and regrows quickly. It is often used in hedges or for topiary art.
