Cotinus coggygria Bush
Origin: Southern and central Europe. Roundish shrub with erect branches, slightly drooping. Bluish-green deciduous foliage becomes a lovely yellow or vermillion in autumn. Flowers in purple-red plumed panicles in June-July, almost covering the plant. Very hardy, it withstands high temperatures, drought.
