cipresso
The Cypress is a tree native to Italy, a conifer with a conical or narrowly columnar shape, with very dense and closely spaced branches that cover the trunk from top to bottom. The leaves are evergreen, scale-like, overlapping, and bright blue in color; in spring, when struck by the sun, they emit silver glints. Flowers and fruits: a monoecious conifer that rarely flowers and fruits. It shows wide adaptability to various climates, from cold and rainy to hot and dry, as well as coastal climates. The Cypress tolerates most cultivated soils, including calcareous ones. It withstands pruning, even fairly frequent, but not too severe.
