Chorisia speciosa (Ceiba insignis)

Tree native to South America, with a spiny, bottle-shaped trunk. The leaves are composed of 5–7 elongated leaflets, the flowers are purple-red or white-yellow. It requires well-drained, fertile, neutral or acidic soils.
