Chamaecyparis nootkanensis

Conifer with an upright trunk and a drooping habit, the main branches grow obliquely downward while the secondary branches hang vertically. The foliage is bright green. It only suffers in very calcareous soils and is often used as a solitary plant in parks and gardens.
