Cercidiphyllum

A tree or shrub native to China and Japan, with an ascending or weeping crown depending on the variety. The deciduous leaves are heart-shaped and dark red in spring, light green in summer, and take on autumn colors ranging from yellow to orange to purple-red. It is used in gardens of all sizes.
