Cephalotaxus

Conifer native to Korea and Japan with ascending branches close to the trunk. The needles are arranged in a spiral, are bright green, and up to 6 cm long. It suffers in dry and poorly drained soils; in warm climates, it is better placed in partial shade, while in cooler climates it prefers full sun.
