Catalpa bignonioides
Tree native to North America, with a low trunk and a sparse, rounded crown. The leaves are large, up to 25 cm wide, oval in shape, and light green in color. The flowers are abundant and showy, appearing in June-July, clustered in upward-facing groups, white with yellow and purple shades. It prefers fresh and fertile soils but adapts to any soil type. Occasionally suffers from frost.
