Carpinus betulus Fastigiata
Campus betulus with a pyramidal shape, with thick, ascending branches from the ground. It is used in narrow street plantings, giving the crown an oval shape. The leaves are like C. betulus but fall in autumn. Soil and climate requirements are the same as C. betulus, and its tolerance to pruning allows it to be shaped into many forms.
