Capparis spinosa
Shrub native to Europe and India with long, climbing or drooping, slender and slightly spiny branches. The deciduous leaves are bright green, very tough, and oval-shaped. The flowers appear in summer, are white with pink shades, and very fragrant. The buds are capers, a widely used condiment. They are grown in pots but grow well among rocks and in sunny wall openings.
