Callicarpa

Deciduous shrub native to China, with a dense crown formed by ascending main branches and horizontal side branches. The flowers are small and light purple, and the fruits, which remain from October to January, are dark blue and highly ornamental. It adapts well to all types of soil and requires severe pruning at the end of winter to promote fruiting.
