Berberis ottawensis 'Superba'
Shrub with reddish bark and a crown that droops at the sides. The deciduous leaves are large, 3 to 5 cm, dark red, oval or round in shape. It blooms in spring with yellow flowers and fruits with small red berries that remain on the plant for a long time. It has no particular cultivation requirements and is used to create colorful hedges and borders.
