Berberis julianae
Evergreen shrub native to China with an ascending crown. The leaves are elongated, serrated, and prickly; in autumn and winter, they turn red. It blooms in May-June with yellow flowers tinged with red and fruits with dark blue berries in autumn-winter. It is used both alone and for hedges.
