Aucuba

Species of hardy evergreen shrubs, native to East Asia. They are very resistant to drought, pollution, wind, and temporary lack of light due to placement indoors or under the canopy of a tree. They suffer greatly from cold. They decorate hedges, terraces, and winter gardens.
